Don’t cry over spilt sippy cups (Show Don’t Tell – Writing Excercise)

Tell:

“The toddler spilled his milk onto the carpet”.

Show:

“His arms flailing wildly to the music, the little boy sat at the table while his mom served him lunch. It was on the tip of her tongue to tell him “Be careful!”, but before she could get the words out of her mouth, his tiny, chubby, but surprisingly accurate little arm crashed into the sippy cup, toppling it end over end onto the freshly shampooed rug.”
